The 2017 VW Beetle is available for purchase either as a convertible or a coupe. This year's model retains the classic retro shape with its sleek profile and low roofline. Its base model features a 1.8-liter four cylinder engine that powers out 170 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. A turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that churns out 210 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque is an available option. While the standard engine receives a six-speed automatic transmission, the 2.0T R-Line features a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for quicker shifting.
